We recently heard from Mr. Steve Rosenoff of Red Wagon Tutorials with regards to their new direction. The following is Red Wagon Tutorials' update that I would like to share with all of you.
On June 13, 2011, I received word from Apologia Educational Ministries that they were terminating their publication agreement with Red Wagon Tutorials. What this means is that Apologia will not be releasing the 2011, v3.0 Red Wagon Tutorials (RWT) Instructional DVDs at all this year or in the future. Red Wagon Tutorials will be the sole source for these DVDs and all RWT products (including our new course flash drive product) this season. This action by Apologia brings to a close a ten year contractual relationship. As we no longer have a publication accord with Apologia, we do not feel it is right to use their name or trademark to create our recorded offerings. We are, therefore, changing the title on all our products to Our Father’s Design through General Science, Biology, etc.” All the recorded RWT constructs will continue to be produced, supported, and copyrighted by Red Wagon Tutorials, as they have always been.
Cleo's Classroom live-feed courses will still go on as planned for 2011-2012 and into the future. Just as many independent schools do, we will continue to use Apologia books as one of our classroom resources, recommend Apologia lab materials when needed, and support Apologia in its ministry around the world. We will also use resources from the Internet, other books, and video, just as we have always done. We wish our Apologia family the very best in the future as they endeavor to follow God's will and leading. It has been a joy to be in association with such a wonderful ministry. We are excited about what God is doing.
