We are glad you have joined us for Shabbat Shalom. This link-Up is a place to share, encourage, and to bless each of you during this day of Shabbat rest. And we couldn't do this without you all sharing your personal links.
The first time the word "Sabbath" is written in the Bible is in Exodus 16:23. It speaks about how to prepare for this day that was set-apart for our Creator.
And he said to them, “This is what YHWH (God) has said, ‘Tomorrow is a rest, a Sabbath set-apart to YHWH (God). That which you bake, bake; and that which you cook, cook. And lay up for yourselves all that is left over, to keep it until morning.’ ” Shemoth (Exodus) 16:23.
A while ago, I did a short bible study on 'preparation for Shabbat' in the bible. We find comfort in knowing our Creator has given us this day of rest and that we can depend on it every week. How great you are YHWH (God). Blessed be Your name. Please visit here to read more.
