Shabbat Shalom ~ Link Up #14

We are so excited that you are visiting us here at Shabbat Shalom Link-up.  We pray that your Shabbat will be a blessed one on His day of rest.  May we continue to show love to one another and bless one another in all things as our Messiah teaches us.

By this shall all know that you are My taught ones, if you have love for one another.
John 13:35

This is My command, that you love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:12

These words I command you, so that you love one another.
Joh 15:1

In brotherly love, tenderly loving towards one another, in appreciation,
giving preference to each other;
Romans 12:10

Owe no one any matter except to love one another, for he who loves another
has filled the Torah. Romans 13:8

For you, brothers, have been called to freedom, only do not use freedom as an occasion for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
Galations 5:13

with all humility and meekness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
Ephesians 4:2

And it is not necessary to write to you about brotherly love,
for you yourselves are taught by Elohim to love one another,
1Thessellonians 4:9

If you are new to observing Shabbat on the seventh day, I pray that the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit will give you peace and lead your family.  We have been observing Shabbat for many years and we continue to be convicted as we take time to study His Word and become doers of His Word. If you are looking for more information on Sabbath and His appointed times, please email us here.

If you would like to also host and have Link Up on your Blog, please contact us.

  1. Fridays are SO busy, since it is Preparation Day for Shabbat, but I thought I'd sit and rest a minute and send you a quick note. I love reading this blog and looking at your visitors' blogs. It is fun to see how others celebrate. My congregation is currently having an Erev Shabbat service after which we have oneg, so I like to prepare delicious foods for that. Today I've prepared some yummy mixed greens (kale and turnip - we southerners love our greens!) and cornbread, along with 2 loaves of seeded whole grain challah. My cornbread just came from the oven, smelling sooo good, nice and crunchy at the edges. But it was too crumbly and fell apart when I tried to turn it onto a plate. I'm really tired but guess I'll have to try again . . . It's not so bad though. I love my congregation and love feeding them well. I'll have plenty to use in next week's turkey dressing! AND Shabbat rest is not far away!!

    Shabbat shalom everyone!

  2. Thank you so much for sharing, I too enjoy reading comments like yours and reading other people's blog. With regards to baking don't despair, I've been trying to make bagels, (dear hubby loves bagels) and I will keep trying. they are not exactly as they should be, but we eat them anyways. Your menu sounds wonderful. May you have a blessed Shabbat!
