We pray your Shabbat will be a blessed one. Tonight we will also be celebrating Yom Teruah, 'a day of shouting' as we await for the coming of our Messiah Yeshua maybe in our lifetime and for his crowning.
And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you. Numbers 29:1

From our Family to Yours.
Our congregation celebrated Yom Teruah on Wednesday night. Our Erev Shabbat meetings are on Friday evenings. We always have an oneg afterwards. So I usually prepare something for later, like hummus or some vegetable dish, to balance out the many pasta dishes and desserts there. We snack for dinner, have our service, then have oneg. It's very special to have that time of fellowship with everyone. I just love Shabbat! And, I'm really enjoying being connected with your site as there aren't very many bloggers who are Messianic Hebrew-roots-oriented. Thank you! And Shabbat shalom, and shanah tova!
