Last week I shared some scriptures of how our Messiah did nothing of Himself. He relied totally on His Father and His Father's will. What a perfect example we are given. As we continue to listen to Andrew Murray's audio book Humility:The Beauty of Holiness, we are continually reminded of what our Messiah's humility looked like, may we continue to pray that it be our desire to be of the same. What blessings do the humble recieve? Here are some scriptures to ponder.

A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
Proverbs 29:23
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself
shall be exalted. Matthew 23:12
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud,
but giveth grace unto the humble. James 4:6
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James 4:10
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one
to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace
to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he
may exalt you in due time: 1Peter 5:5-6
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
