Shabbat Shalom Link-Up #1

Erev Shabbat is upon us once again. We are singing praises.  Yes literally, our praise music is on and we are busy preparing our meals and getting ready.  Even our 15 year old son helps out for Shabbat meal.  Erev Shabbat/Preparation day in our house is never dull.

How is your family preparing for Shabbat in your house? What will you be eating?  Who will you be fellowshipping with?  How will you be glorifying our Creator?

I'm trying something new and wanted to give everyone the opportunity to be of encouragement by sharing your love for YHWH and the importance of Shabbat to your family.  There are so many ways in which we show glory. Below you can link to a post for Shabbat menu planning, a recipe for Shabbat, some special music video, scripture that would be of encouragement to others, some beautiful photos of His creation, the list is endless.

To share a link to your post, use the Linky below.  Simply share your your link along with title and image. Make sure that the specific link goes directly to your post.  Please remember to link back here so that other people can join us!  If you do not have a blog and would like to share, please leave a comment.  Thank you!

I'm really pleased to let you know that Moira from Look Who's Cookin is also part of this Linky Blog-hop.  I'm encouraging you to visit her site.  She has wonderful recipes especially for Shabbat!  You can link up from her site or here.

Shabbat Shalom!
From our Family to Yours.

  2. oy! this thing won't post my comments! Zachary! lol.

We don't do Erev Shabbat service at our house mainly because of the kabbalah-istic candles used for it, but we still prepare for Sabbath. Go Challah!
That's a nice challah, btw! Is it home-made?

  8. Hello Chavash, yes the challah in the photo is home made. We bake it every Erev Shabbat. I love changing out recipes. Hopefully I can post one of them some time soon.
